Window Wells

Window Wells

Windows are a source of potential water penetration for your home, especially windows that are at or below grade. It is important to make sure these areas are adequately waterproofed to keep your basement dry. Something as simple as an intact window well cover or proper grading can keep this from happening!

How We Do It

To install window wells we will generally dig 4 feet below grade, lay about 3 feet of gravel, and anchor a pre-fabricated window well to the home. Here you can see  an anchored well before the surrounding dirt was replaced.
Once the hole is filled back in, we will make sure the grade in the area we disturbed will flow water away from your home and will cover the opening with a window well cover.
